Located between the Dominican Republic and the British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, officially the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, is an unincorporated territory of the United States. Unprecedented and a hybrid, this status divides the land. Puerto Ricans are American citizens, but they can’t elect their president. They also don’t have control over their economy and are prevented from having commercial relationships with countries other than the United States. However, this jewel of the Caribbean that’s the size of Corsica, with its 500 kilometers of beach, turquoise waters, and tropical jungle, seduces tourists and stars from all over the world.

Situé entre la République dominicaine et les îles vierges britanniques, Porto Rico est un territoire rattaché aux USA, sous la forme « d’État libre associé ». Un statut inédit et hybride qui divise le pays. Les Portoricains sont de nationalité américaine, mais ils ne peuvent pas élire leur président. De plus, ils n’ont aucun contrôle sur leur économie, et n’ont donc pas le droit d’avoir des relations commerciales avec d’autres pays que les États-Unis. Pourtant, ce joyau des Caraïbes, grand comme la Corse, avec ses 500 kilomètres de plage aux eaux turquoise et sa jungle tropicale, séduit les touristes et les stars du monde entier.
